The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and the amount of water your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.

This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum also dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum that mops robotic mop and vacuum (you can try this out) combination you could buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can pick up dirt and dust on your floors while taking care of wet mess then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots that vacuum and mop. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clean of everything that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

This device has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot vacuum that vacuums and mops clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
