Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot hoover vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are crucial in my house that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase but its cost and constant maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is continuously dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage bin. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. 4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum mop cleaner robot's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
